Aight locks. Feast your eyes on this.
#1: Be nice to the other kids on the playground, just because you are the most OP class in the game doesn't mean you get to be a bully.
With that said let's move on to some tasty stats and gear. Below are some links that will direct you in gearing up your lock. Also, this post will contain a lot of useful knowledge for you talents, end game raid specs and general lock knowledge.

LOCK Q&A: - If you have a question that needs to be here let me know.
Q: What is a warlocks hitcap?
A: As of right now it's 202.
Q: What stats should I focus on while leveling?
A: Stam -> Spell Damage -> Intellect -> anything else that tickles your fancy. See below for the reasoning behind this in the section called "Lifetap".
Q: What spec should I focus on while leveling?
A: Most warlocks level as affliction, great mobility, easy to drain tank and many switch to demonolgy at 50+.
LIFETAP: - This separates us from the other casters.
With a lock you should have very little down time. If you're not lifetapping then you're not playing your lock to it's full potential. I see many locks that play just like mages, spend there mana then eat and drink. If you insist on playing your lock this way, go roll a mage.
The reason for leveling with a focus on stam is so you can lifetap as much as possible and just keep going, it's a never ending circle. Lifetap then drainlife (which is of course dps), dot's, shadowbolt or whatever and then rinse and repeat. So as a lock having more stam in intellect (mana pool) is fine and actually desired. You can always replenish your mana at your own whim.
When you are in a raid take not of your healer's if they are lock friendly and tap away if you can, if not - don't be a jerk and just tap all the time forcing the healers to waste mana on you during an important battle. Pay closer attention to your mana and tap smarter, throw up a drain life if needed for a sec. In a battle, unless a healer says otherwise, don't tap to below half your half because you'll get heals that are meant for the tank or someone more important then yourself. If that's the case, brings some mana pots along with you - although you should rarely, if ever, have to do this.
COMMON TALENT BUILDS:
Common PVP Builds
Common PVE Builds
Four direct link common builds:
SL/SL ( 23/38/0 )
Info: A very common PVP build, pretty much a standard. Really good for survivability. Low on burst dps.
DS SnF ( 0/21/40 )
Info: Highest Pure damage spec, basically you'll become a shadow bolt machine. For highest damage you must sacrifice succubus for +shadow damage. For maximum damage you'll want to be hitcapped, 900+ sdmg and at least 20% crit. Usually you'll keep CoE roll'in also while SB spam.
Dark Pact/Ruin ( 40/0/21 )
Info: In my opinion one of the best raiding builds for newly 70 locks. Roll with the imp out to be your mana battery and provide blood pact. Post all your dots and SB spam, renew dots and SB spam some more, ruin will provide some nice crits.
Felguard Destructive Reach ( 0/43/18 )
Info: This is great is you are bored of a affliction build but you are not geared enough to take full advantage of a destruction build. This will provide you a felguard, but be ready for him to be killed and resummoned.
A note on lock talent builds DPS:
Pure destruction builds are the builds that will yeild the highest DPS possible. No affliction or demonology spec will get close to the damage caused by destruction if gear requirements are met.
COMMON LOCK NOTES:
Spirit is not a needed lock trait, if none of your gear has spirit that is perfectly fine.
If you are a destruction lock never use your imp, you should always sacrifice the succubus, if a tank complains just tell them to suck it up and that 600 more hp won't make that much of a difference, his gear should be better.
