If you've been following the news here at TNF over the last few months you've noticed we've been through several changes. Through it all, TNF has not faltered, if anything, we've been growing. That new growth has brought us several new officers, new members, and interest from aspiring guild members. With all of these changes and new faces in mind, I wanted to personally welcome all of our new guildies into the fold and, in the process, explain what type of guild TNF is.

TNF is not hardcore, if anything, we're far from it. We enjoy the game and exploring new content, but we're not going to spend 20+ hours a week trying to down hardmodes. We do enjoy raiding and we schedule progression raids at least one night every week. Signups are clearly defined in each raid posted on the guild calendar. Raids are usually posted on Sunday nights. In the past we've had 30+ signups for a 25 man raid. Priority is given to those that signup first, with the exception of needed role players - ie. tanks and healers. Some folks have left the guild due to being the 24th person signed up and being left out b/c a healer who signed up 30th had to be taken. If reading something like that irritates you, then maybe this guild isn't for you. We will not sacrifice the experience of 24 other willing and prepared members because one person got butt hurt over raid signups. If you have any questions about raid signups, whisper a veteran, officer, or board member in game to learn how. Same rules apply for 10 mans. We understand that 10 mans are very limiting, but that's what signups are for. We are working to get more 10 mans in new content running each week. Check your gearscore before signing up as well. Work on gearing yourself before signing up for a raid with a minimum gear score. Ask for help with enchants, jewels, glyphs, etc. TNF has tons of crafters and masters of professions to get everyone up to par.

After years of struggle over a loot system, TNF has finally adopted KoniferSK, or suicide kings, as our preferred loot distribution system. It is described in better detail here. If you do not understand the system, please talk to a veteran, officer, or board member for more info. I cannot make this any clearer - If you're gonna get butt hurt if the weapon you've always wanted dropped and you didn't get it because of your rank in suicide kings, then TNF is not the place for you.

I also recommend becoming more than just a guild member. TNF is really a community, and in a lot of ways a family. Join our vent channel on a regular basis and not just on raid nights. Alot of the decisions made regarding the guild aren't made by the board members or officers, input is needed from everyone. Its much easier to talk it out over vent than try to discuss it in guild chat.

Lastly - wear the TNF tag and tabard with pride. This guild has been around and active on Korgath for a long time and has outlasted many other guilds. We have a strong reputation for being fair and honest and we want to keep it that way.
