We don't expect you to know anything on the subject. After all, Morgi and I remember how you handled your virus situation =P.

My first question is... do you have your own internet connection? (you live in your own house, and have your own personal internet?) Or do you run off of a college campus' internet, and/or apartment's internet?

ok yo malice first off do you only have one computer hooked up to the internets? If not is the other computer having the same issue?

Also try seeing if unplugging your router's power cable for 15+ seconds works.

oh mal just so ya know i had nightmares last night about teh chocolate man

it's our internet, and it's wireless. i'm not the only computer on the network, but i don't know how to check laur's computer. she doesn't really have any games that i could try it out on. i reset the router a few times this week. so i don't think that is gonna help. =/

Well, it is possible that it's your internet providers problem. About 6 months ago we had our cable provider come out due to having a spikey internet connection... and it resulted in him doing some crap to our powerline... apparently the powerline was spiking (in a small way) and that was screwing up our internet.

could very well be what malf said, i say go on laur's computer and watch a 5 min movie or something to see if the stream stops at any point if her internet is acting funny then its probably the provider, tho it could be remanants of that virus you had before.
